The Cosmographs
by Stephen Owen
The Cosmographs, begun in 1987, are not the result of contrived channelling.
The Cosmographs deal, in part, with the dominant Archetype of Christianity. How does the West move forward? The West is arrogant and consumerist. Nature is seen as an exploitable machine. This is wrong. Lyrical Nature goes unperceived by 90% of Western urbanized humankind.
The Cosmographs seek to restore joy and imagination to religion. “If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear as it is, infinite” (Blake).
Spaceflight is part of humanity’s future. The 4th, 5th and 6th dimensions await discovery — and inner space is as vast as outer — this the Buddha taught.
The Cosmographs are a Poetry of Wonder.
Note : The Cosmographs is a long work, not yet in final form. I have, with the accord of the author, selected a few of the opening pieces (The Cosmographs 1 − 7) and an entire continuous Section entitled The Unveiling (The Cosmographs 101 − 120) as, to my mind, best giving the reader a taste of this remarkable work.
